Standard Wood Frames

Descriptions

World Doorways offers two standard jamb profiles that will meet most project requirements the double rabbet or applied stop and single rabbet frame. (See details A and B.) Jamb sets are solid hardwood milled to your specification widths. Jamb legs are ¼" longer than the doors to assure proper fit, minimizing the need for door trimming on the jobsite. Jambs are shipped knockdown – stops and casing are shipped loose with the jambs.

These frames are available in the following wood species: Red oak, white oak, maple, and poplar (paint grade).

Other species are available upon request.

Custom frames: We have the capabilities to match existing profiles or match architects drawings.
